Assist@Cor develops a new percutaneous heart pump that combines two proven protective principles in a single device: diastolic augmentation to boost coronary blood flow and continuous unloading to reduce cardiac workload. The goal is simple and bold: protect the heart exactly when it is most vulnerable – during complex PCI and acute cardiac failure – with a physiological, catheter‑based solution.

The first proof of concept of an expandable rotor size with an external motor showed good hemodynamic results of up to 4 liters with 12000 RPM and against normal pressures in a passive perfused heart model.

Our breakthrough pump technology combines continuous left-heart unloading with diastolic augmentation of central aortic pressure and flow in a single integrated platform.

This unique dual-protection concept is designed to relieve the failing heart, improve coronary perfusion, support systemic circulation, and enable a simpler implantation approach.
